Copyright Policy

How to notify us of copyright infringement and how we respond.

1. Respect for Copyright

Ecom10x respects copyright and expects users to upload and manage only content they are entitled to use (product images, descriptions, documents).

2. Reporting Infringement

If you believe content hosted on Ecom10x infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [LEGAL_EMAIL — e.g., legal@ecom10x.in] (or by post to [REGISTERED_OFFICE_ADDRESS OF ECOMSARTHI BUSINESS SOLUTIONS LLP]) including:

  1. identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  2. identification and location (URL/screen) of the allegedly infringing material;
  3. your name, address, email and telephone number;
  4. a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or law;
  5. a statement, under penalty of perjury/appropriate declaration under Indian law, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

3. Our Response

On receiving a substantially complete notice we will: acknowledge within 48 hours; review promptly; and, where the claim appears valid, remove or disable access to the material expeditiously, consistent with intermediary due-diligence obligations under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder. We may notify the uploading user and provide them the notice.

4. Counter-Notice

A user who believes material was removed in error may submit a counter-notice with equivalent identifying details and a good-faith statement. We may restore material where the law permits and the claimant does not initiate proceedings within a reasonable period.

5. Repeat Infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe after notice are subject to suspension or termination under the Account Suspension & Termination Policy.

6. Misrepresentation

Knowingly false infringement claims may attract liability; do not misuse this process.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This document is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this document shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith negotiation within thirty (30) days of written notice. Failing amicable resolution, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be [JURISDICTION_CITY — e.g., New Delhi], India, and proceedings shall be conducted in English. Subject to the foregoing, the courts at [JURISDICTION_CITY — e.g., New Delhi], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
