Platform Trust & Safety
How we keep the Ecom10x ecosystem safe for sellers, buyers-by-extension, and marketplaces.

1. Why Trust & Safety Matters Here
Ecom10x sits between sellers and marketplaces. Abuse on our platform could harm sellers' accounts, marketplaces' ecosystems, and — through buyer data in order records — real individuals. This page describes how we prevent that.
2. Protecting Sellers
- No-password architecture: the single biggest account-safety decision — credentials never pass through us.
- No risky automation: we refuse browser-automation of seller panels that could trigger marketplace suspensions.
- Guardrails in the product: below-cost price changes are blocked unless explicitly forced; destructive actions require confirmation; SLA and health alerts warn before marketplace penalties hit.
- Account security: login throttling, session expiry, role scoping, audit logs, and fraud-detection heuristics on anomalous behaviour.
3. Protecting Buyer Data (People in Your Orders)
Buyer personal data in order records is processed only for fulfilment and servicing, consistent with marketplace data-protection policies and the DPA. It is never used for advertising, list-building, or resale, and marketplace-mandated retention limits are enforced.
4. Protecting Marketplaces
We respect marketplace rate limits, scopes and developer policies; we act only on seller instruction within granted permissions; and we suspend integrations where a marketplace requires it. Fraudulent use of claim/recovery features (knowingly false claims) violates our Acceptable Use Policy and can lead to termination.
5. Platform Integrity
- Tenant isolation prevents any organisation from seeing another's data.
- Anti-abuse controls: API rate limiting, input validation, automated blocking of attack patterns.
- Vetted team access: per-client scoping for VAs and client-viewers in agency mode; workload and audit visibility for owners.
6. Reporting
- Safety or abuse concerns: [SUPPORT_EMAIL — e.g., support@ecom10x.in]
- Security vulnerabilities: [SECURITY_EMAIL — e.g., security@ecom10x.in] (protected under our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy)
- Personal-data grievances: [GRIEVANCE_OFFICER_EMAIL — e.g., grievance@ecom10x.in]
Every report is triaged; outcomes affecting your account are communicated to you.
7. Enforcement Transparency
Enforcement follows the Account Suspension & Termination Policy — proportionate, cure-oriented where possible, immediate where security or law demands, and always appealable to the Grievance Officer.
