User Responsibilities

Responsibilities of every individual using a Ecom10x login.

1. Who This Applies To

Every individual with Ecom10x credentials — owners, admins, account managers, VAs, and client-viewers — whether at a seller or an agency.

2. Credential & Session Care

  • Use a strong, unique password (minimum 8 characters; longer recommended). Never reuse marketplace or email passwords.
  • Never share your login. Each person must have their own account under the team settings.
  • Log out on shared devices; the Platform also auto-logs-out after inactivity, but do not rely on it.
  • Report suspected compromise immediately to your admin and [SECURITY_EMAIL — e.g., security@ecom10x.in].

3. Acting Within Your Role

Access only the clients and features your role permits. Do not attempt to view or modify data outside your assignment; such attempts are logged and may lead to access removal and disciplinary consequences with your employer.

4. Data Handling

  • Treat everything in the Platform as confidential business information.
  • Download exports only for legitimate work purposes and store them securely.
  • Do not copy buyer personal data out of the Platform except for fulfilment/servicing needs permitted by law and Marketplace policy.

5. Truthful Inputs

Enter accurate data (COGS, packing verifications, claim details). Analytics and claims built on false inputs harm your organisation and may breach Marketplace terms.

6. Prohibited Behaviour

The Acceptable Use Policy applies to every user personally, including its prohibitions on security circumvention, scraping, and misuse of buyer data.

7. Agencies — Client Duty

Agency users handling client accounts owe those clients the confidentiality described in the Confidentiality Policy and must operate each client's Connected Accounts only within the client's authorisation.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This document is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this document shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith negotiation within thirty (30) days of written notice. Failing amicable resolution, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be [JURISDICTION_CITY — e.g., New Delhi], India, and proceedings shall be conducted in English. Subject to the foregoing, the courts at [JURISDICTION_CITY — e.g., New Delhi], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
