AI Usage Policy
Where AI is (and isn't) used, and how your data is protected when it is.
Company: EcomSarthi Business Solutions LLP ("EcomSarthi", "we", "us", "our")
Product: Ecom10x — One Dashboard. Every Marketplace. (the "Platform" or "Service")
Effective Date: [EFFECTIVE_DATE — e.g., 1 August 2026] · Version: [VERSION — e.g., 1.0] · Next Review: [NEXT_REVIEW_DATE — e.g., 1 February 2027]
1. Current State — Honest Disclosure
Most Ecom10x intelligence today is deterministic: profit calculations, reconciliation, audits, health zones, suggestions and response drafts are produced by explicit rules operating on your data — not by generative AI. Where generative AI features are offered (e.g., AI-personalised listing rewrites, narrative insights, review-response personalisation), they are optional, clearly labelled, and activate only when you enable the AI integration and provide/consent to the applicable AI provider.
2. Data Sent to AI Providers
When an AI feature runs: (a) we send only the minimum content needed for that output (e.g., a listing title and its keywords — not your whole account); (b) we do not send Marketplace tokens, passwords, or payment credentials — ever; (c) buyer personal data is excluded except where strictly required and permitted for the specific feature, and Marketplace data-protection policies always prevail; (d) the provider used is disclosed in the Subprocessor Policy.
3. No Training on Your Data
We do not use your Customer Data to train our own or third-party foundation models. We configure AI providers, where the option exists, so submitted content is not used for their model training.
4. Human Responsibility
AI outputs are drafts and decision support. You review before publishing listings, sending responses, or acting on suggestions. AI outputs may be inaccurate; they do not constitute financial, tax or legal advice, and the disclaimers in the Terms apply.
5. Prohibited AI Use
You may not use AI features to generate content that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or in breach of Marketplace policies (e.g., fake reviews). The Acceptable Use Policy applies.
6. Control & Off Switch
AI features can be disabled at any time from the Integrations screen; disabling stops all data flow to the AI provider and deletes the stored key.
7. Transparency of Change
If our use of AI materially changes (new providers, new data categories), we will update this Policy and notify customers per the change-notice provisions of the Privacy Policy.
