API Terms of Use

1. Scope

These API Terms govern (a) any programmatic interfaces Ecom10x exposes to Customers ("Ecom10x APIs"), and (b) the Customer-authorised use by Ecom10x of third-party Marketplace APIs (Amazon SP-API, Flipkart Seller API, Meesho's officially supported mechanisms, and future integrations). They supplement the Terms and Conditions.

2. Licence to Ecom10x APIs

Subject to compliance, we grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to call Ecom10x APIs solely to access your own organisation's data and features for internal business purposes.

3. API Keys & Credentials

• Credentials identify your organisation; keep them confidential and rotate them if exposure is suspected.
• Do not share credentials across organisations, embed them in client-side code, or sell/sublicense API access.
• We may rotate, suspend or revoke credentials for security or breach.

4. Restrictions

You must not: (a) exceed or circumvent documented rate limits or quota mechanisms; (b) scrape the Service in lieu of using APIs; (c) reverse engineer non-public interfaces except as permitted by law; (d) use APIs to build a competing service using our proprietary outputs; (e) submit malicious payloads or attempt injection attacks; (f) access another organisation's data or attempt cross-tenant requests; (g) resell raw Marketplace Data in violation of the source Marketplace's terms.

5. Rate Limiting & Abuse Prevention

Ecom10x applies rate limiting, anomaly detection and automated throttling. Abusive patterns (credential stuffing, enumeration, unusual bulk pulls) may be throttled or blocked automatically, with notice where practicable. Repeated abuse is handled under the Account Suspension & Termination Policy.

6. Marketplace API Pass-Through Obligations

Where Ecom10x calls Marketplace APIs on your behalf: (a) you must hold a valid seller account in good standing; (b) you must comply with that Marketplace's seller agreement, developer policies and acceptable-use rules, which flow through to your use of Ecom10x; (c) Marketplace-imposed restrictions on data use (e.g., Amazon SP-API Acceptable Use and Data Protection Policies restricting the use of buyer PII to order fulfilment purposes) bind both parties, and Ecom10x features are designed within those restrictions; (d) we honour Marketplace rate limits and back-off requirements — sync timing may adjust automatically to remain compliant.

7. Changes & Versioning

APIs may evolve. For Ecom10x APIs we aim to give reasonable notice of breaking changes. Marketplace API changes are outside our control; we adapt as quickly as practicable.

8. Availability & Support

9. Disclaimer & Liability

API responses depend on upstream Marketplace data. The disclaimers and liability limits of the Terms apply fully to API usage.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This document is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this document shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith negotiation within thirty (30) days of written notice. Failing amicable resolution, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be [JURISDICTION_CITY — e.g., New Delhi], India, and proceedings shall be conducted in English.
