Marketplace Connection Guide
Step-by-step: connecting Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho — and disconnecting safely.
Company: EcomSarthi Business Solutions LLP ("EcomSarthi", "we", "us", "our")
Product: Ecom10x — One Dashboard. Every Marketplace. (the "Platform" or "Service")
Effective Date: [EFFECTIVE_DATE — e.g., 1 August 2026] · Version: [VERSION — e.g., 1.0] · Next Review: [NEXT_REVIEW_DATE — e.g., 1 February 2027]
Before You Start
- You need admin/owner access to both Ecom10x and the seller account you're connecting.
- Ecom10x will never ask for your marketplace password. If any screen ever does, stop and report it to [SECURITY_EMAIL — e.g., security@ecom10x.in].
- Every connection shows you, in advance, exactly which data categories will be accessed.
Connecting Amazon.in (SP-API)
- In Ecom10x: Settings → Connect a marketplace account → Amazon, then open Integrations → Amazon SP-API.
- You will be taken to Amazon's own consent page (Login with Amazon). Sign in on Amazon's domain and review the requested permissions.
- Approve. Amazon issues scoped tokens to Ecom10x — your password never touches our systems.
- Back in Ecom10x, the account shows as connected; initial sync of orders/listings/settlements begins within the marketplace's rate limits.
Connecting Flipkart (Seller API)
- Obtain API access from your Flipkart seller dashboard (API access request → application ID and secret).
- In Ecom10x: Integrations → Flipkart Seller API, save the credentials (stored encrypted, shown masked).
- The linked account becomes API-ready: order fetch, accept, label, RTD and settlement sync follow Flipkart's API terms.
Connecting Meesho
- Meesho integration works through officially provided seller data: export Orders, Returns and Payment files (including payment ZIPs) from the Meesho supplier panel.
- In Ecom10x: Imports → select the Meesho account → drop the file. Formats are auto-detected, including the Ads Cost sheet inside payment ZIPs.
- If and when Meesho provides official API access to your account, it plugs into the same Integrations screen — with the same no-password rule.
Verifying a Connection
Settings → Connected accounts shows each account's status and last-sync timestamp, so data freshness is always visible.
Disconnecting (User Disconnect Process)
- Settings → Connected accounts → Disconnect (or revoke authorisation directly in the marketplace's console — we treat detected revocation the same way).
- Effects, immediately: scheduled syncs stop. Within 24 hours: all tokens for that account are deleted from our systems.
- Previously synced business data remains available for your records unless you also request deletion (Data Deletion Policy §2–3).
Troubleshooting
Connection failures usually mean expired marketplace authorisation or changed seller credentials — reconnect via the steps above. Persistent issues: [SUPPORT_EMAIL — e.g., support@ecom10x.in].
